Submit a testimonial about your experience at Princeton

Hope you had a good break and are staying warm! Our bargaining sessions will resume Tuesday morning, 1/14, from 9am-12pm, followed by 1/21. We’re expecting the first counter proposals from Princeton on our ~20 noneconomic proposals presented so far. Sign up here if you’d like to be an observer for either of these sessions! After that, we’ll return to our bi-weekly bargaining schedule (2/4, 2/18, and so forth).

In addition to observing bargaining sessions, there are lots of ways for all postdocs to participate and strengthen our bargaining efforts. It will take all of us working together to win a strong contract!

1. Drop into “Co-work & Caucus” 10am-12:30pm in the Louis A Simpson atrium during bargaining sessions. Bring your own work to do in the company of your fellow postdocs. When there are breaks in the bargaining session for each team to consult with its side, you can meet with our bargaining team and give your input.

2. Drop into “Catch up with PUPS”, an informal lunch every Wednesday 12pm-1pm in Frist Campus Center. Look for a PUPS sign for the latest bargaining updates and chit-chat with other postdocs. (BYOL – bring/buy your own lunch!)

3. Testimonials from postdocs are important to show management why we need to improve our working conditions. Important topics coming up in the next bargaining sessions include issues with reappointments, discrimination and harassment, and applying to grants without Co-PI status. For these topics and any others, you can provide a testimonial about an experience you’ve had for bargaining sessions and/or social media. A postdoc from the Bargaining Committee or Organizing Committee will follow up with you.
